2022 Toyota Sienna Hybrid
2022 Toyota Sienna Hybrid Review
Minivans are great vehicles, and those with a hybrid drivetrain are fantastic.
Yes, that is a bold statement, but driving the 2022 Toyota Sienne Hybrid in Barrhaven, adds credence to it. In the past, many people have bypassed the minivan in favour of its more fashionable cousin, the SUV.
We think this is a mistake.
Drivetrain
The Sienna sports Toyota’s hybrid drive system. The 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with an electric assist that produces 245hp with stated fuel economy figures of 6,5 litres per 100 kilometres for front-wheel-drive (FWD) models 6,7 litres per 100 kilometres for the all-wheel-drive (AWD) version. This makes the Sienna the most fuel-efficient minivan in Canada.
Standard Technology
All models carry the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 technological suite of safety and driver assistance features.
Trim Levels for 2022
The Sienna offers five different trim levels for 2022.
At the bottom of the line is the Sienna LE, which comes in at just over $40,000 for the FWD version or $42,000 to have the AWD model. This model comes with all the standard features such as heated seats and steering wheel, a sound system with phone integration, and powered sliding doors.
Next up is the XLE, which only comes in FWD at $43,490. This model gets all from the LE, plus a sunroof, simulated leather seats, and foot-operated releases for the tailgate and sliding doors.

The Limited is at the top of the line, which only comes with AWD and a price tag of $58,750. This model comes with leather upholstery, heated rear seats, the JBL sound system, ventilated and heated front seats, footrests for the rear seats, and a 360-degree camera system.
